These laws include severe penalties such as imprisonment, deportation, and a permanent ban on obtaining a U.S. visa for anyone attempting to enter illegally, providing false information, overstaying a visa, or working without legal authorization.

Official U.S. data revealed a significant 94% drop in illegal border crossings in February 2025 compared to the previous year, while arrests of undocumented immigrants within the U.S. surged by 627%. Authorities warned that any attempt to enter or remain in the country illegally will inevitably lead to detention, deportation, and potential permanent bans or fines.
